IFA-Netsite is powered by IFA-Netsite, an advanced website management system built from the ground up for the UK financial services industry. It provides flexibility, reliability and speed whilst minimising the regulatory overhead.
Microsoft .NET
The entire code-base of Netsite is built on Microsoft's .NET with database requirements provided by Microsoft SQL server. The combination of these two enterprise level technologies ensure a service that is both reliable and fast. The underlying code and technology of Netsite is being continually developed & enhanced by Sammedia Ltd in-house.
All of the code has been hand-written by the team at Sammedia. Netsite is not based upon an open-source web engine. The very specific requirements of the modern IFA & broker would mean such an approach, whilst cheaper to develop, would result in the regulatory overhead of owning a website, being passed, as it always has been, to the IFA/ broker, or Network/ service provider.
With Netsite (and it follows IFA-Netsite), these requirements shaped the very development and shape of the service itself. In other words, IFA-Netsite has been built to the business and regulatory requirements of todays IFA/broker, not the other way around.
Hosting
All IFA-Netsite sites, hosted on Sammedia's own rack servers, are based in a secure server farm in London's Docklands. All sites and databases are backed up every 24 hrs and the servers have built-in redundancy with RAID 5 and backup power supplies as well as 24/7 on-site technical support. The datacentre itself enjoys close proximity to the a 'backbone pipe' of the UK's internet, ensuring your site is always fast and responsive.
